FAQ
What software do I need?
Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (free) for spreadsheets, and Word, Google Docs or any PDF reader for the documents.
Will it work if I'm not VAT registered?
Yes. Set "VAT registered?" to No. VAT is then removed and a "not VAT registered" line is added to the invoice.
Does the CIS tracker file my return?
No. It organises your figures for your monthly CIS return; you still submit the return to HMRC yourself.
Can I change the formulas?
Yes. Sheets are protected without a password so you don't break anything by accident. Use Review > Unprotect Sheet.
How do I buy and download?
Click "Buy on Etsy" and check out on Etsy. Your files are available straight after purchase in your Etsy account under Purchases and Reviews. No physical item is sent.
Can I get a refund?
These are digital downloads supplied immediately, so you lose the 14-day cancellation right once the download begins. Your statutory rights aren't affected: if a file is faulty or not as described, message us on Etsy or email [email protected] and we'll fix it, replace it or refund you.
Is this tax or legal advice?
No. These are organisational templates. Check GOV.UK or speak to an accountant about your situation.
